Rolls-Royce Celebrates 10 Years of Black Badge at the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas

For Rolls-Royce, the 2026 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas represented more than another showcase of exceptional automobiles. It marked a return to the setting where one of the marque’s most distinctive expressions first emerged, as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America celebrated the 10th anniversary of Black Badge at Wynn Las Vegas. The marque returned as a sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, bringing the full Black Badge lineup to the event alongside the Gradient Spectre Series II. The showcase connected a decade of individualistic design with the continuing evolution of Rolls-Royce craftsmanship, Bespoke personalization and all-electric performance. “Ten years after Black Badge was introduced at Wynn Las Vegas, returning here for the 2026 Las Vegas Concours is a meaningful moment for Rolls-Royce,” said Nick Keen, President, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America. “Black Badge has become an important expression of individuality within the marque, and presenting the full lineup alongside Gradient Spectre Series II reflects the continuing evolution of Rolls-Royce through design, innovation and Bespoke craftsmanship.” Back Where It Began The Concours at Wynn Las Vegas holds a particular place in the recent history of Rolls-Royce. It was here in 2016 that Black Badge made its debut, introducing a more assertive and unconventional interpretation of the marque. A decade later, the return to the same destination gave the anniversary a natural sense of continuity. Introduced for clients seeking a more contemporary expression of Rolls-Royce, Black Badge offered an alternative to the marque’s established character without relinquishing its defining standards of refinement, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Its identity was rooted in individuality and self-expression, giving clients another way to shape a motor car around their personal tastes. At the 2026 Las Vegas Concours, the complete Black Badge lineup was presented together, illustrating how that design language extended across the Rolls-Royce range. Each motor car brought its own interpretation of the collection’s confident aesthetic and emphasis on personal expression. Among its featured cars, the Gradient Spectre Series II brought a distinctly contemporary perspective to the anniversary. Combining the all-electric Spectre with the expressive character of Black Badge, it demonstrated how Rolls-Royce was carrying its design philosophy into a new era of propulsion. Spectre represented the next chapter in the marque’s story, pairing near-silent, effortless electric performance with the craftsmanship and Bespoke personalization expected of a Rolls-Royce. Its Gradient treatment further highlighted the possibilities of the Bespoke program, where color, finish and detail could be brought together to create a highly individual commission. Presented alongside the full Black Badge lineup, Gradient Spectre Series II brought together several of the marque’s defining themes: design, innovation, artistry and the freedom of personal expression. It was an electric interpretation of Rolls-Royce that looked forward while remaining grounded in the values that had shaped the marque. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America's fifth consecutive year sponsoring the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas underscored the event's role as a gathering point for automotive design, craftsmanship and collecting. The sponsorship reflected a shared commitment to automotive excellence and the culture surrounding exceptional motor cars, bringing enthusiasts, collectors and the wider luxury community together. Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II Makes Its Public Road Debut

First revealed in June 2026 as the latest chapter in its already-successful EV story, the Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II has rolled off the Goodwood production line and is making its world debut on public roads in Stockholm. The Series II update follows the same design approach Rolls-Royce Motor Cars applies across its entire fleet of cars and SUVs, evolving the model line with subtle and purposeful updates without outdating its predecessors. The Stockholm debut also comes as Rolls-Royce continues to expand its footprint in Northern Europe, with a new showroom recently opening in Copenhagen. The biggest updates are unseen. The Rolls-Royce Spectre Series II now offers up to 390 miles of range on a single charge in the WLTP cycle, an increase of up to 18%. Charging times have also been reduced by as much as 14%, while torque has climbed to 750 lb-ft. The Black Badge Spectre Series II gets even more power, with up to 811 lb-ft available in Spirited Mode. The changes build on the original Spectre without starting from scratch, giving drivers more range and power while addressing some of the practical considerations that come with owning a six-figure EV.Rolls-Royce has added a Gradient Two-Tone exterior finish, along with Duality Twill and Placed Perforation interior touches, expanding the choices available through its Bespoke customization program. These options give owners more room to tailor everything from the paintwork to the interior details. With its European debut in Stockholm and the opening of the Copenhagen showroom, the Spectre Series II is also part of Rolls-Royce’s big push across the Nordic region. Rolls-Royce Is Putting Its Most Bespoke EV Through 350 Weeks of Testing

Once the standard for automotive craftsmanship, coachbuilding has evolved from an age-old trade into one of the most exclusive forms of bespoke car creation. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has kept that tradition alive, drawing on its historic coachbuilding roots to create modern, bespoke builds in close collaboration with owners and collectors. We’ve witnessed firsthand with the one-off Sweptail in 2017, reportedly commissioned for around $13 million, followed by the three examples of Boat Tail in 2021, reported around $28 million each, and the Droptail in 2023, a four-car coachbuilt series. That tradition now continues with Rolls-Royce’s Project Nightingale, first announced in April 2026 as a limited coachbuilt collection of just 100 cars and now entering testing. With Project Nightingale intended to be driven around the world, engineers will dedicate over 350 weeks to testing, taking prototypes from the roads of Southern Europe to the Arctic Circle and Arabian deserts. The journey will also include altitudes of up to 9,022 feet, putting the all-electric Rolls-Royce through temperature and environmental extremes well outside the typical luxury-car testing cycle. The Southern France portion carries some added history, too. The Nightingale name comes from Le Rossignol, the French name for the house Henry Royce built for his engineers near the French Riviera, where early Rolls-Royce cars were put through rigorous testing more than a century ago.Much of the work has already taken place before the prototypes even hit public roads. Project Nightingale has completed more than 1,430 hours of aerodynamic modeling through digital simulations and wind-tunnel testing, with the next phase focused on validating those results at a private high-speed facility. The cars will reach up to 155 mph while engineers work to minimize wind noise and maintain the quiet, comfortable character expected from Rolls-Royce. Even airflow inside the cabin is being developed, with an electric wind deflector designed to prevent turbulence from entering the interior when the roof is lowered. The roof itself will go through 10 separate tests covering its fabric and mechanism at temperatures reaching 176°F.Then there are the details that make Project Nightingale different from a conventional Rolls-Royce. Its new Piano Boot opens sideways on a cantilever and will be cycled up to 15,000 times to guarantee its operation over years of ownership. The convertible roof also features a specialized sound-deadening lining combining cashmere, fabric and composites. While computers, wind tunnels and instrumentation can measure much of the development process, Rolls-Royce says the final assessment still comes down to the instincts of its most experienced engineers. For a 100-car coachbuilt collection designed around individual clients, that human element may be just as important as tech. All Rolls-Royce Inventory Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce Opens A New Testing Facility

Besides its elegant design, sumptuous materials, and bespoke artisan craftsmanship, Rolls-Royce is known for creating vehicles with impressive engineering and quality. As the ultra-luxury automotive manufacturer continues to improve its Goodwood home, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has strengthened its commitment to quality with the inauguration of its new Eric Platford Testway. The new dedicated facility has been made for on-site final validation of completed cars, with a controlled environment that precisely measures the integrity of a finished car. Especially focusing on the chassis, suspension, body structure, and interior components of the car, the testway offers repeatable conditions for the cars to be subjected to. The surfaces include cobblestone sections, ‘Random Concrete Waves’ for vertical elevation, ‘Twist Humps’ for torsional load, ‘Railway Tracks’ that are paired for sequential front and rear axle inputs, alternating circular iron covers, small ‘Sine Waves’ that offer high-frequency resonance, and smooth tarmac. Either end of the testway features turning areas that help test the stability of loose items in the cabin in a roundabout, for example. The testing facility was named after Eric Platford, Sir Henry Royce’s first chief tester. Alongside his vehicle development role, Platford also used his skill and judgement to help Don Carlos de Salamanca, one of the most important early clients of Rolls-Royce, win the 1913 Spanish Grand Prix. Platford is one of the most influential names in Rolls-Royce’s early history, and his legacy inspires the purpose of the testway today. <- Gallery -> Before taking on the new Eric Platford Testway, Rolls-Royce vehicles are subject to an aero-acoustic chamber to test wind noise, and engineers will continue to test vehicles on a traditional 13-mile route on the local roads surrounding the Goodwood Home of Rolls-Royce. The official opening of the testway was done by The High Sheriff of West Sussex, Mr Gary Shipton, DL, who commented, “It was an enormous privilege to officially open the new Eric Platford Testway at the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Goodwood where more than 2,500 people are employed. The Testway is testament to the expertise of Rolls-Royce engineers and it was a pleasure to meet them and to understand the considerable research and technical innovation that has made it possible.” With a historic commitment to quality and sound engineering, the new Eric Platford Testway is an important step in the future of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Rolls-Royce Unveils New Phantom Hummingbird

Rolls-Royce undoubtedly represents the highest echelon of automotive luxury, with a lineup that combines stately silhouettes with artisan craftsmanship, robust power, and the most sumptuous materials. However, Private Commissions, especially since the advent of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Private Offices across the globe, add an extra layer of exclusivity and bespoke personalization to the already ultra-luxurious vehicles that Rolls-Royce offers. The latest, emerging through the Rolls-Royce Private Office Dubai, is the new Phantom Hummingbird, a Private Commission based on the Rolls-Royce Phantom Extended that represents a first in Rolls-Royce craftsmanship. For several owners, Rolls-Royce Private Commissions can be inspired by family history, loved ones, or personal stories, and the new Phantom Hummingbird is an homage to the client’s wife. It’s named after the hummingbird, which is known as a symbol of levity, resilience, and beauty, and its bespoke design aims to capture natural beauty with its stunning curation of materials and techniques. For the first time in a Rolls-Royce, the new Phantom Hummingbird uses abalone shell in its marquetry. Abalone is prized for its dazzling iridescence, and in the Phantom Hummingbird, it’s combined with mother-of-pearl to capture the shiny, colorful feathers of a hummingbird. Each Picnic Table in the car features hummingbird marquetry, while the rear Waterfall features a botanical motif. The marquetry was developed over nine months, with six iterations made before finding the perfect technique. The three panels were completed after a total of 45 hours of work. <- Gallery -> Alongside the abalone and mother-of-pearl details, Ash Burr veneer, Creme Light, Moccasin, and Tan leathers, Seashell carpets, and a Starlight Headliner complete the incredible interior configuration. A two-tone exterior was chosen for the car, with the lower half in Wildberry and the upper half in White Sands, while a White Sands Coachline adorns the length of the car, with a hummingbird painted delicately at the end. Another incredible example of Rolls-Royce’s virtually limitless craftsmanship potential, the new Rolls-Royce Phantom Hummingbird raises the bar of automotive ultra-luxury even higher. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars at Monterey Car Week

And just like that, another memorable Monterey Car Week comes to a close, and for Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, it was a week celebrating art and craftsmanship with the debut of two bespoke commissions. Prior to pulling any covers, it's most definitely worth noting the setting where Rolls-Royce wows its clientele, colleagues, and members of the media: a secluded villa on the Carmel coastline. Overlooking panoramic views of the Pacific, a short chauffeured ride in a Ghost took us to the driveway entrance, where Rolls-Royce’s current lineup was on display, including the Spectre, Cullinan, Ghost, and Phantom. Inside the home, there were subtle cameos from Rolls-Royce’s lifestyle collection, including the $50,000 bespoke chess set released last year. Art pieces from Cyril Kongo were on display throughout the interior, hinting at the creative Cullinan collaboration debuting later in the evening. Entertainment extended from the indoor-outdoor living room, bar, and kitchen to the back, where guests mingled throughout the evening before the big reveals. GALLERY-EMBED The first of the two was the Black Badge Cullinan Series II by Cyril Kongo, a one-of-one commission that immediately stood out. Known for his graffiti-inspired artwork, Kongo covered the Cullinan in a mix of bold colors and expressive hand-painted details that give the SUV a personality of its own. The same artistic treatment continues inside, where bespoke colors, materials, and handcrafted finishes carry the theme through the cabin. Like so many of Rolls-Royce’s commissions, the appeal here comes from the collaboration itself, with Kongo’s artwork meeting the work of the Bespoke Collective in Goodwood to create something that belongs both in an art collection and a garage. GALLERY-EMBED The second reveal took a very different approach. Black Badge Ghost “Golden Era” pays tribute to more than a century of Rolls-Royce V12 engines, using gold as the common thread. Finished in Gold Crystal over Black, the exterior has a subtle sparkle in natural light, while a hand-painted “V12” coachline, gold wakelines, and gold-painted bumper inserts add to the theme. Inside, the story gets even more detailed, with embroidered illustrations of the V12 throughout the cabin, including a first-of-its-kind rear interior panel depicting the engine’s internal design. Microscopic gold flakes are suspended within the lacquer of the Technical Fiber veneer, while gold brightwork, engraved vents, a “Golden Era” Illuminated Fascia, and even a gold-inlaid ashtray continue the theme. Above it all, the Starlight Headliner gets its own collection of gold shooting stars, finishing off a Ghost that manages to celebrate the V12 without losing the understated character. For Rolls-Royce, Monterey Car Week offered insight into just how far Bespoke can go when clients and artists are given the time and freedom to create something truly their own. From Cyril Kongo’s colorful take on the Black Badge Cullinan Series II to the mechanical tribute of the Black Badge Ghost “Golden Era,” the two commissions are a reminder that at Rolls-Royce, the final product is only part of the experience. Rolls-Royce Celebrates Bespoke at the Goodwood Festival of Speed

While the Goodwood Festival of Speed stands out as one of the most prestigious events on the automotive world’s calendar, it also happens to be held within walking distance of the Home of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, making the occasion even more special for the marque. This year, within the Stable Yard, Rolls-Royce is placing a strong emphasis on its bespoke offerings, presenting a fleet of personalized commissions that showcase craftsmanship, material innovation, and design individuality.Set on home soil, Rolls-Royce will also celebrate the UK public debut of the Spectre Series II, which has become both a flagship model for the brand and its grand entry into the growing world of EVs. The example on the grounds of Goodwood comes finished in two-tone Dark Emerald with Black Diamond, with a Mandarin-painted coachline and brake calipers that add a touch of contrast to the exterior. Inside, the interior unveils Placed Perforation for the first time on the Spectre Series II, revealing hidden artwork through precisely placed perforation patterns. The cabin itself is layered in Cashmere Grey and Black as primary tones, with vibrant Mandarin piping pulled from its exterior details.  GALLERY-EMBED The recently revealed Phantom Regatta makes its appearance as a one-of-one commission, inspired by racing yachts of the English south coast and world-renowned regattas like Cowes Week. The exterior is finished in a custom Regatta Blue hue over English White, hand-painted in two-tone to mimic the line where a yacht’s hull meets the water. The interior is designed to portray a yacht under full sail, with deep blue water below and a bright white canvas sail above. The front features Navy Blue leather, while the rear cabin is finished in Grace White, with RR monograms embroidered in Turchese to resemble turquoise inshore water. Piano Milori and Open Pore Royal Walnut yacht-inspired picnic tables took roughly 120 hours to hand-finish. Tying it all together is a one-of-a-kind hand-painted Gallery artwork called Watercolour, created to capture the movement and colors of the open sea. GALLERY-EMBED The latest creation making its grand debut this weekend is the Ghost Savile Row, inspired by London's famous tailoring district. Its exterior is finished in a sophisticated two-tone Midnight Sapphire over English White, inspired by a classic navy suit and crisp white dress shirt, while a Silver Featureline adds a touch of polished cufflinks peeking from under a tailored sleeve. Inside, the theme continues with a mix of Navy, Arctic White, and Selby Grey leather accented by pinstripe-inspired stitching, pocket-square-style seat embroidery, and Open Pore White Wood veneer with Black Wood trim. Hidden beneath the rear armrest is the commission's standout detail, an embroidered artwork requiring 250,000 stitches and over a mile of thread, making it the most intricate single-frame embroidery ever created by Rolls-Royce and a perfect example of its bespoke abilities. GALLERY-EMBED Rounding off the lineup is the Cullinan Bohemian Sunset, inspired by the changing colors of the sky at dusk and executed by designers at the Home of Rolls-Royce. Finished in an Iced Silver Haze exterior, the commission features a vibrant Mandarin coachline and matching wheel-center pinstripes that add just the right amount of contrast. The cabin mirrors the same theme with Seashell leather, bespoke Chevron perforation, and eye-catching Navy and Mandarin embroidery. The highlight is the Starlight Headliner, which gradually transitions from orange to blue to recreate the fading colors of a sunset overhead.  All Rolls-Royce Inventory Source: Rolls-Royce Motor Cars
